Financial Controller
Overview
My client is an established manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Gloucestershire are currently looking to recruit for a Financial Controller of their site reporting Directly into the Managing Director. The Financial Controller will have overall responsibility of and lead the day to day running of the company's Finance & IT functions. As part of the SMT supporting the board to formulate business strategy and developing of the company's finance and IT systems to ensure they support the needs of the business. The Financial Controller will be expected to contribution to Strategic Projects to support the MD and Senior Management Team and will also hold the post of Company Secretary. The Finance & IT Department currently consists of an Assistant Accountant, looking after Ledgers, treasury and VAT; an administrator dealing with Purchase Ledger 3 way checking and Reception duties and an IT manager managing the IT systems with the support of an outsourced IT support company.
