As a result, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our busy and friendly main office in Kings Hill, West Malling. The vacancy is for an environmental data administrator, on a 3-month fixed term contract working 2 days per week, who can assist with our data collection projects. We are looking for someone with strong IT skills and a team ethos who can work with data and who understands the need for quality and consistency. On a daily basis, the post holder will be responsible for assisting the Data Management Team in the collection and processing of new and existing datasets. The role will also include an element of assisting other departments such as the Marketing Team and Risk Assessment Team, to conduct research and help to create interesting and educational reports, blogs and white papers. The successful should be competent with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and have good communication skills. Knowledge and experience of working with environmental data, and geographical information systems (GIS) is a beneficial but it is not essential.
