Overview
Our client has a requirement for a Regional Facilities Manager to be based out of Birmingham who will be responsible for delivering FM services across the West Midlands region of their estate. Client Details Our client is a public sector body. Description The role of the Regional Facilities Manager will be to oversee the delivery of all lines of FM services across a regional portfolio of properties throughout the West Midlands region. This will include driving and upholding standards both in line with internal requirements and statutory requirements. You will need to ensure that your properties are fully compliant and well maintained at all times. This will include ensuring that the necessary PPM plans and compliance programmes are in place and are followed. You will have a team of assistants and coordinators who will report into you and will be able to assist you in the day to day delivery of FM services. Your position will be very "customer facing" and you will have numerous internal stakeholders who will it will be important that you develop and maintain a positive working relationship with. You will be a point of contact for any issues that are escalated and you will need to ensure that any issues are dealt with professionally and promptly. You will have full budget responsibility for your portfolio to ensure that a sustainable FM programme is delivered to it. From time to time you may also be involved in overseeing some small CAPEX projects and will ensure that these run to agreed timescales and budgets. Profile The ideal candidate for this role will be a Facilities Manager who has full TFM experience and has previously managed a team of FMs, assistants or coordinators. It will be essential to demonstrate strong customer relationship skills and you will be confident in holding a regional role which will be demanding and busy. The role itself is based in Birmingham but will require frequent travel throughout the West Midlands region so ideally you will live in or around this region. Job Offer A salary of circa £40,000 car allowance is on offer.
