Overview

We are looking for an experienced Construction Planner who has a stable career history working with main contractors on projects in excess of £40m as a minimum. It is essential candidates applying must be highly competent and have ideally worked in a similar role on major building construction projects with a leading main contractor. The Senior Planner sets out, monitors, maintains and updates the project schedule in coordination with all stakeholders of the project. The Senior Planner provides information to the Project Management and Design Management teams on project progress including critical path and project milestones. Skills and Experiences Extensive project experience with a logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and project objectives. Able to develop and use effective processes in decision making and evaluation to achieve optimal program and project performance. Good level of commercial awareness; excellent understanding of the corporate/client and project interface and the need to translate corporate and /or client objectives into requisite project deliverables of quality and value excellence. Critical thinker; able to use initiative and analytical skills to develop effective solutions to financial and commercial project issues to effect exceptional project performance. Strong cost planning and budget and contract management, monitoring and reporting ability.
