Location: London Role Purpose: The Senior Space Planner will work directly with and support the clients EMEA Space Planning lead. As part of the Global Planning team, they will be responsible for real estate portfolio strategy and occupancy planning and stack and block planning, with some end user engagement. They will work closely with facilities, MAC, transactions, projects, global outsourcing and local stakeholders, with a focus on detailed scenario planning and occupancy planning, to improve the efficiency of the client's real estate portfolio. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Space planner will be responsible for: * Support regional planners in demand planning analysis by maintaining site capacity metrics and produce supply vs. demand charts as requested. * Support regional planners in detailed data analysis either in support of HC forecasting or in support of site and building metrics. * Support regional planners and translate macro level scenario plans into stack plan development (at site or building level). Provide several options of stack plans based on detail data and guiding principles set forth. * Prepare those stack plan options into presentation format for regional planners to present to site leads/ planning committees * Work with local space captains and move managers to gain any local bottom up data and reconcile for stack plan detail. * Develop block plans from approved stack plans at building and floor level. Prepare those block plans into presentation format to communicate. * Develop migration plans at building and floor level, which detail out movement of teams and move dependencies. * Communicate approved stack plans to space captains, and review and adjust proposed block plans as needed to gain best efficiency and co-location at team level. * Communicate approved block and migration plans to move managers for execution. * Manage data at a site level audit and update planning groups and assignment of allocation from approved block plans. * Be able to respond to impromptu request such as increased headcount at site level, and coordinate with multiple service streams. * Communicate clearly and professionally with business stakeholders handle general internal queries, clarify concerns and identify solutions. * Maintain discretion and confidentiality in regard to all discussed space plans and real estate dealings. * Act collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and service orientation. * Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under fast paced environment and demanding situations * Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision, with confidence. Skills * Proficient in MS Office, and possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills * Proficiency in Excel essential, pivots, macros, v-look ups, database analytics * Essential Archibus database knowledge or similar CAFM facilities management software, Scenario Planning tools. * Ability to read and analyse floor plans * Key understanding of building environments Experience * Minimum of 5-8 years in a related space planning role, * Analytical data & an occupancy planning background a strong asset * Change management background or interior design background an asset * Previous experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-national environment * Must be able to demonstrate flexibility in relation time zone work where required * There will be occasional travel within EMEA Region in support of planning - Must hold a valid passport Diversity and Equality Diversity and equality of opportunity should be the central principle of your selection process.
