Main Purpose of Role We're looking for someone to join our team who has fantastic customer service skills, a professional communications style and a can do attitude. Key responsibilities include: - Answer telephone calls, assist with client queries and be able to take and relay accurate messages. - Welcome guests to the building, sign them in, offer drinks and inform the correct person of their arrival. - Develop an understanding of what each department in the business does and who to pass telephone calls through to. - Help clients with queries relating to course bookings - Assist with administration tasks as and when required. - Deal with couriers and deliveries. - Deal with arrival post and afternoon outgoing post using a franking machine. - Build relationships with the immediate team, other departments, venues, agents and Wilmington companies. - Organise buffet lunches for internal meetings as and when required. - Order stationery and monitor stock levels. - Scanning and filing documents. - Assist with any other office duties as and when required. Skills and Experience Required - Experience in the same or similar role - A professional office and telephone manner. - To be focussed and able to manage your own time. - To be able to use own initiative but also able to ask for help when necessary. - Good use of English both verbally and written. - Good listener and able to extract the appropriate information. - Organised, able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure. - Able to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience of working in a busy office environment in a reception role and of transferring telephone calls. - Previous experience of using internal company databases. - Good level of grammar and punctuation in written communication. - Good understanding of Microsoft packages such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
