Overview

Are you an experience Engineer with hands on experience working with O365 and Microsoft Exchange? Do you enjoy the challenge of project work and the fast paced task of incident management? The Opportunity I currently have a number of opportunities for Applications and Systems Engineers within a major Public Sector organisation, responsible for both internal and 3rd party applications as well as over 300 servers utilised by over a thousand staff throughout the North East, this is a small but high functioning team, responsible for both day-to-day administration and management as well as complex project work. The Role This role requires supporting the Server and Application functions of a major Public Sector entity in the North East, responsible for the installation, maintenance, support, patching, remediation and daily management of a suite of operationally critical servers and applications which support over 1500 operational and non-operational staff. As well as this you will be responsible for complex project work, being given responsibility to run either a project or part of a project yourself and the freedom to carry it out and report back when you're finished. Combined with the above is management and liaison with multiple 3rd party suppliers for SLA's, incident management and project work, as well as working confidently with a variety of other departments.
