Family Support Workers Location: South Lakeland and Furness, Cumbria Salary: £16,835.00 (per annum pro rata) Contract: Part Time, Permanent Hours: 16 hours per week Oaklea's Children and Young People team seeks to promote young people's personal and social development and enable them to have a voice, influence and place in their communities and society as a whole. About the Role: Family Support Workers The successful candidate for the role of Family Support Worker will be expected; To provide needs led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child or young person has additional needs such as depression, anxiety, learning and/or physical disabilities or those disengaged. To deliver a high-quality family support service within South Lakeland including emotional, social and practical support to children and young people. Introduce new initiatives and ideas where needed. To support children and young people to access their hobbies and interests.
