Overview

Role: Quality Manager (Pharmaceuticals) Location: Salford, Greater Manchester Salary: £40,000 PLEASE NOTE: Only candidates with experience of working within a GDP/GMP environment will be considered Responsibilities: Managing 3 direct reports; 2x quality assistants, 1x quality officer To ensure that all QA department activity is performed in accordance with defined procedures and such activity is appropriately documented To support the business in maintaining compliance to GDP, GMP, ISO 9001 and client requirements Providing QA oversight for the International House site and acting as an RP on behalf of the company Responsible for Quality within the International House site and named as QC on respective authorisations Supporting or hosting MHRA inspections Maintaining knowledge of applicable regulations To ensure that all QA department activity is performed in accordance with defined procedures and instructions and where applicable, appropriate records are maintained Ensuring that quality incidents, customer complaints and deviations are appropriately recorded and investigated and that corrective actions are identified and communicated Using the company electronic QMS, QPulse Ensuring that all direct reports are trained in GDP and GMP and all relevant procedures Ensuring documents are managed, approved and controlled Ensuring changes are appropriately documented, reviewed, approved and controlled Performing internal and supplier audits Maintain the MS in conjunction with the licence holder Reporting monthly performance measures, utilising statistics within QPulse Essential: 5 years experience working within a GDP/GMP environment Thorough knowledge of GDP and GMP regulations Knowledge of the pharmaceutical regulatory framework within the UK Trained in all department procedures within 6 months of joining the company Please note: Cordant People are an equal opportunities employer Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer
