Materials Controller Welshpool Permanent Circa £25,000 Monday to Friday – 40 hrs per week Do you want to work for a rapidly expanding client who offers great benefits? We are working with a well-established manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced Materials/ Stock Control candidate to join their team and manage the purchase, storage and distribution of materials. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team of people within a financially stable company with good job security. The Materials Controller will be responsible for: Purchasing and expediting materials Working from an MRP systems Liaising with suppliers over quality concerns, delivery schedules and service Negotiating costs of service and actively performing cost down activities Continuously working to improve the supply chain processes and systems Liaise with production department over their material requirements Working from production schedule to forecast parts required Ensuring you are meeting KPI targets and working to the budget provided Working to maintain the company’s quality accreditations Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a Materials Controller role or similarly: Supply Chain / Stock Control / Purchasing / Stores Operative / Buyer Must have strong working experience with MRP systems such as SAP, Navision, Dynamics, Oracle, Sage Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office Ideally hold a valid and in-date Forklift Counterbalance license, this is not essential The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we're able to progress with your application within 72 working hours .
