Overview
We are recruiting a Quality Control Inspector on behalf of a client based on Fradley Park, Lichfield. Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inbound inspection of Newell Brands products. Key responsibilities: • Ensure all test criteria is documented and conforms to the requirements of the Quality System. • Ensure all products are tested in accordance with Quality Procedures and objectives to confirm that they meet specification. • Ensure all customer returns are tested in accordance to the quality manual, documented and the claims department notified of test results. • Ensure all stock that requires inspection is completed within the given time frame following the AQL requirements. • Provide feedback on any potential problems to the Quality Assurance Manager • Routine checks on warehouse stock to ensure products are of saleable condition and meet market requirements. • Help collect data to be sent back to suppliers/manufacturers on any Quality related issues that may arise. • Assist with customer technical support if required - EMEA area • Maintain the sample cage records Qualifications: • Understanding of Quality Systems and able to work in compliance with procedures and instructions. • Computer literate – able to use Microsoft Office programmes. • Problem solving, with open and logical approach to problem solving issues that may arise • Able to prioritise own work in accordance with company requirements and able to work unsupervised • Attention to detail • Flexible hours, willing to travel if required • Professional approach, project a good working image of the company when dealing directly with customers and end users • If required, off site work to complete inspection of stock at supplier/customer sites or distribution hubs Experience in the below would be beneficial - Quality Systems Computer literate Problem solving Attention to detail Must have their own transport, may be asked to drive to other DC's
