Job Description
Senior Data Engineer - Azure - SQL - Staffordshire Working on a really exciting position for a Senior Data Engineer to be part of a large organisations move to the cloud. You will play an instrumental role in moving the company's current data warehouse to SQL Azure. You will have the opportunity to work with the very latest technologies for a great company. You will have a history working extensively in a large data warehouse environment already and hopefully will have already been part of moving to Azure already in previous roles. Role & Responsibilities * Leading to team towards a fully cloud based solution. * Be the technical expert with the latest technologies. Make recommendations to the wider business as to how to keep up to date with the best data solutions. * Migration of current solution to Azure. Skills & Qualifications * Strong technical expertise using SQL Server. * Experience delivering a data warehouse solution from scratch. * A strong understanding of SQL Azure principals (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure cloud architecture). * Experience leading a team and leading the strategy of an analytics team.
