Overview
Children's Holiday Camp Summer Supervisors required to provide care for a residential holiday for children aged 7-16 years May suit university students with relevant childcare experience looking for summer work Must live locally as will be required to attend an interview at the equestrian centre Essential qualifications & skilled needed: Relevant childcare experience Ideally having worked on a children's holiday camp or similar Current first aid training Safe guarding for children Current DBS, ideally on the update service Non smoker Car driver with own transport preferred as rural location Love of the countryside An advantage if you have equestrian knowledge but not essential, must like horses Organised and tidy Good communication skills Punctual Good attitude Approachable and friendly Always polite and courteous Good team player Excellent spoken English Key responsibilities: Supervision of children Dispensing of medication when needed Providing a safe environment Follow all safety procedures To act as a point of contact for the parents Ensure all children follow standard of hygiene and follow the daily routine of the holiday camp To maintain clear communication with the holiday administrator, instructors and other staff members Required to work: Sunday - 2.45pm - 10pm Monday - Friday - 7am - 9am and 5pm - 10pm Saturday - 7am - 11am Will always be required to stay over in the cabin every night with the children and may be required to get up in the night to deal with a child if homesick or unwell Required: Various weeks over the summer period from 28th June - 29th August £ 600 gross for the week
