Broker Support Technician - Fluent Italian required Location: City of London Salary: Competitive, dependant on expertise and relevance of knowledge Our client is a successful, independent Lloyds Broker & Coverholder based in the Heart of the City. This is a full 360 degree role, incorporating all aspects of technical support activity. Duties Creation and processing of documentation including use of BAR, ATLAS, CRYSTAL, Da-Sats, PPL, RiskServe, ECF/CLASS System Prepare new / renewal Binding Authorities and endorsements Prepare and check documentation and support the placing brokers within Lloyd's and Company market: oCover and Debit Notes, liaise with X-Changing and other Lloyd's and company offices and bureaux oBroking presentations for new and renewal business (includes liaising with clients in order to obtain the relevant information if needed) and slip endorsements oSlips (including existing, new business, renewals and policy adjustments), proposal forms and full policy schedules, wordings and endorsements Upload and import of bordereaux on the systems Liaise with underwriters and deal with resulting queries Liaise with accounts department regarding payment of premium to market and bureau and assist them with any queries and in addition dealing with premium signing queries from the bureau or underwriters. Process claims bordereau and claims collection in a timely fashion Review and provide claims history, loss information, major claims analysis and figures to other divisions, underwriters and clients Back-up for compliance and regulatory issues Knowledge and Experience Strong Binding Authority & open market broker support experience Knowledge of the: opractices and processes of the Lloyd's and Company market olegal principles governing insurances oFSA regulatory framework governing insurance brokers REF : 7547 MW Appointments is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
