GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Herefordshire for a Locum, Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in Family Law, to join an expanding and award winning legal firm supporting their busy Family division. Our client is a highly regarded and expanding legal firm that offer a quality service across a range of legal matters to an ever growing client base. Their diversity, breadth of experience and unique level of hands-on expertise are their greatest strengths. Due to expansion they require a Family Lawyer capable of working across the whole range of Family Law Services while managing a team of two Paralegals, for a 3 -6 month contract. To be successful in this position you must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience within Family law matters. Locum Family Lawyer main duties: Provide high quality, efficient and effective legal advice and representation to the firm on matters relating to family services Manage a reasonable caseload of work related to the area of law with compassion and professionalism Assist in the supervision and training of less experienced staff Achieve billing, time and fee earning targets set and co-operate with the firm’s credit control arrangements Continue to develop your personal skills and experience within your field of expertise Locum Family Lawyer required skills and experience: You will be Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive entitled to practice You must be able to demonstrate an excellent oral and written communication skills as well as demonstrable skills and strengths in negotiation, drafting, persuading and influencing To succeed in this role you will have recent, in-depth knowledge and post qualification experience in the area of Family Law You must be able to work with other fee earners and seek advice and assistance whenever needed to develop knowledge and skills This position has an immediate start available.
