Overview

Education Futures are currently working with a number of local authorities to appoint SEN Caseworkers on a contract basis, ranging from three months to six months. Reporting to the SEN Manager you will be responsible for supporting the team with the operation and management of a caseload, and overseeing the writing of Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP). You will ensure the high standards of the authority are being met, all the while maintaining a high output of work. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have worked within the Education, Health and Care department. You must have very good organisational skills, and know both the SEN Codes of Practice & Children & Families Act, as well as a having firm understanding in the Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) process.
