Overview
Are you an established Senior Care Assistant, with a wealth of knowledge and experience that you can bring to our award-winning Agency? Pure HomeCare is an established Domiciliary Care Agency with offices based in Leicester and Birmingham. We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Senior Caregiver within our expanding and innovative Domiciliary Care Agency covering Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham. The Senior Care Assistant is expected to perform a variety of duties in line with supporting the Clients and Caregivers of Pure Homecare and its operations: Support the Business Needs of Covering Care Visits and ensuring our contractual obligations to Pure HomeCare clients as required. The Senior Caregiver will take the lead role in any care packages they are scheduled on. This would include ensuring the overall wellbeing of the Client. Support the Care Manager and Care Coordinator with investigations or ensuring the smooth running of care packages and Client satisfaction where required. Monitor and resolve PASS daily alerts to include care notes, medication and fluid intake. Liaise with the relevant Caregiver where completion has not been done to Pure HomeCare Standards. Complete Caregiver Concern forms where there is an ongoing issue. Liaise with Healthcare Professionals such as GPs, District Nurses etc where required to ensure the standard of care is maintained. Conduct spot checks, mentoring, Client or Caregiver quality assurance as required. Support the Out of Hours Team on a week on/week off basis to cover any shortfalls in calls. Ensure supplies of PPEs are maintained with each Client. Ensure all medication prompts/administration is adhered to for the Client. Notify the Medical Professional/Office where this does not occur. Perform Caregiver introductions and training and client specific training where applicable. Support the Pure Homecare Recruitment drive - displaying Pure Homecare advertising/leaflet distribution. Support the Operations Team in office based administrative tasks where required. The preferred level is Health and Social Care NVQ 3. Must have a successful, demonstrative track record of high standards of care delivery.
