Overview
A leading global provider of conferences, training and research within Financial Services is seeking commercially driven Programme and Speaker Recruitment Manager to join their vibrant Central London team. As Programme and Speaker Recruitment Manager you will identify and secure appropriate speakers for a diverse range of global conferences. The role requires regular outreach and interaction with potential speakers via e-mail, professional networking sites, cold calls and face to face meetings. In addition to speaker recruitment, there will be travel to international events to ensure the smooth delivery of event programmes. Role Specification: E-mail outreach, cold calls and networking with potential speakers Identify, invite and confirm appropriate speakers for conferences Brief speakers & chairmen in advance of the conference Travel internationally to oversee conferences, provide speaker support, conduct further research, manage client relationships and assist event managers where required Maintain salesforce database, ensuring information is kept up to date at all times Candidate Specification: Very strong interpersonal skills & proven track record of maintaining strong client relationships Comfortable speaking to senior executives Previous understanding or background working with financial topics would be beneficial Fluency in English is necessary; fluency in other languages, would be advantageous Strong communications skills - spoken and written with a persuasive but consultative manner Self-motivation and collaborative approach
