This school is a very creative and diverse school as they want their pupils to be ready not just for secondary school but also learn valuable skills to help them as adults. There is very good communication between the year groups and teachers to ensure that children get noticed and no one gets left behind. As a primary teacher you will be going into the key stage 2 classes and will be expected to take over quite swiftly. The primary school will support your transition and ensure that you are welcomed warmly into the school as the ethos of the school is based on turst, loyalty and honesty. Your position will be as a class teacher where you will be expected to help the class and provide lesson plans and move the class to the end of year goals. This is a lovely two and a half form entry school to work in because it has fantastic grounds, great community feels and an open door policy with the parents.
