Overview
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to join an organisation based in the Birmingham area on a permanent basis. The Finance Manager will report directly into the Chief Executive for the control, security, safeguarding and accounting of all public monies in addition to direct supervision of two finance assistants. Further Duties of the role include: Accounting, banking, investment and management of all Association funds Financial control over all Association grants and expenditure Draw down funds throughout the year through the relevant funding streams Support the reporting expenditure against their grants Complete forecasts for the Annual Budgetary Cycle and review and report during the year Produce Annual Financial Statements for external audit Oversee the monthly Payroll and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements Member of the Senior Management Team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, looking for a step up, or a first time mover from practice, with a strong attitude to improving / streamlining processes.
