Overview

From the rapid growth of the company we are looking for a strong administrator with experience in credit control, focusing on providing a very personable and professional service to clients. Within this role, we expect you to know who key personnel are (both external and internal) and understand the organisation's aims and objectives. You must be able to work on your own initiative to produce quality work in a timely manner. Additionally, you will help to build an improved service in the department by contributing your expertise to the Property team. Key Responsibilities: To maintain and develop close relationships with external and internal customers by effective communication and exchange of information, to minimise the potential for adverse financial implications for the company Identify unpaid balances that are subject to dispute/query to negotiate resolution and follow up so that the customer is satisfied, and payment is received promptly Ensure all administration is completed to a very high standard Any and all other ad-hoc administrative tasks (mail merges etc.) relating to Property Management, completed in a timely fashion with quality service in mind at all times Daily banking Process Creditor invoices Prepare Creditor payment runs Reconcile bank statements Daily Client Account report Processing of the creditor invoices that have been received, including coding, obtaining and entering onto ledger Prepare creditor payment runs Prepare daily client related bank payments Daily Client Cash report Daily system back-up Skills and Attributes A comprehensive knowledge of Credit Control procedures in a Trade Credit environment Knowledge of accounting systems, spreadsheets and general good IT literacy are essential Organisational ability, including planning, prioritising and monitoring own workload Ability to work as part of a team in addition to working on own initiative where necessary The role involves considerable contact with internal and external customers therefore a professional approach and excellent communication, written and oral skills are essential One to two year's previous Credit Control experience is desirable Experience using 'Sage' system Salary £22,000 - £25,000 To apply hit apply or email
