gap healthcare are currently recruiting for an exciting new position that has just opened up at a Housing Service located in Thetford. The role is for an experienced Key Worker, who will be responsible for developing and implementing support packages for their clients and ensuring their needs are being met. The role: You will be supporting a group of clients with multiple needs, including homelessness, mental health and substance abuse. Your main responsibility will be giving comprehensive assistance to those in your care and encouraging them to participate in all recommended activities. This will result in the clients moving on from the Service, having developed strong daily life skills. The person: The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience as either a Key Worker or Support Worker. They must be comfortable with lone working and be willing to embrace all aspects of the role, which can include personal care, domestic tasks and the running of daily activities. The individual must be calm, patient and understanding. This is an excellent opportunity for those who have worked within the Mental Health sector and are looking to broaden their experience.
