Overview

A Primary School we are working with in Ealing is seeking an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant with knowledge of Autism to work in their specialist SEND Department. The Role This role requires a warm, engaging and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to commence a full time position in the school after the Easter break, working in the SEND Department. You will be working closely with several students across KS1 & KS2 who have autism and learning difficulties. The successful applicant will be happy to work within the classroom and individually on a 1:1 basis with these children on a full time basis. Previous knowledge and experience working with children with Autism and Speech & Language Needs is required and an understanding of Makaton and PECS is highly desired, however not essential. This is a full time, long term role with interviews to be conducted as soon as possible. This is a long term supply role with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position for the right applicant.
