We are currently looking for a Principal/Associate Transport Planner to help shape and drive our client's talented Transport Planning team. Role Summary This is a fantastic opportunity for you to step into a senior role and help shape the future of a Transport Planning team, You will work closely with the Director of Transport Planning undertaking analytical work - such as trip generation, modelling, road safety audits, carbon footprint calculations to provide a solid basis for the proposal of any mitigation strategies along with written work - Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Statements. Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have experience in: Communication skills are key when liaising with clients and stakeholders The ability to manage projects effectively (within time and budget) staying focussed on the end goal and overcoming obstacles as you progress. Leading the delivery of projects working under minimum supervision based on an in-depth knowledge of and working experience of implementing the principles of transport planning You will have strong technical capabilities with a focus on traffic modelling Experience of client management including preparation of fee proposals A civil engineering background is desirable with the ability to undertake preliminary junction/highway design If interested, please get in touch via contact details provided or click "Apply" to forward an up to date copy of your CV and ideally with a cover letter.
