Overview

Primary Teacher – Year 1 – Hackney - September 2020 Q – Are you currently completing your Primary Teacher or Primary NQT searching for a KS1 Position in Hackney for September? If so, we would love to hear from you, for this Year 1 Primary Teacher position. The Headteacher is specifically looking for a Year 1 Primary Teacher in their first three years of teaching, ranging from NQT to third year. This is a full-time, permanent Year 1 Primary Teacher position in an amazing, creative and whole-child focused school. In Year 1 you will be supported by a phenomenal KS1 Phase Leader. You will also benefit from a co-teacher in Year 1, to bounce ideas off and share planning and resources, relieving the stress and workload massively. The Headteacher and KS1 Phase Leader are specifically looking for a Primary NQT or Teacher in the earlier stages of their career, rather than an experienced teacher. They are looking for someone full of energy and enthusiasm that they can invest time into and develop into an Outstanding KS1 Teacher. Ideally, you will have experience in Year 1. You will need a solid understanding of Phonics. You will have ideally worked with children from disadvantaged backgrounds, working with SEN and EAL typical of an Inner London School. The school has a good mix of children, with a third from affluent backgrounds, a third from “middle of the road” backgrounds and the last third from disadvantaged backgrounds in the local council estate.
