Overview

MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) Support Officer Sector: Healthcare Location: London Band: 5 Rate: £11.80 - £15.10 per hour PAYE or £13.50 to £17.40 per hour Umbrella The role: The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the Contracts managers to ensure the successful delivery of contracting functions. The post holder will have overall responsibility for maintaining the day to day functioning and operational management of the contracting pod. Role specific duties and responsibilities: The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities To assist in the collation of information to highlight contractual and performance issues. Undertake compliance of providers with regulatory requirements, as well as the contractual agreement. Keep informed of any changes to relevant national and policies and guidance Provide operational support in relation to contracting arrangements on behalf of the CCGs. To provide support for all projects undertaken in the Contracting team. To be responsible for taking formal minutes of various meetings and ensuring that there is a timely turnaround of actions and appropriate follow-up. To be responsible for preparing papers, agendas and presentations for meetings for the contracting team. To be responsible for the organisation of meetings/events/workshops within the contracting pod team. To be responsible for developing and maintaining systems for storage and retrieval of information dealing with contracting and other related information. Requirement to work flexibly across Pods (as and when the need arises) in situations not limited to absence cover, project work, covering maternity leave etc. The post holder is required to follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in their work and take responsibility for maintaining their personal training in the use of SOPs as part of their annual training and development plan. Experience and skills: Experience in administration n a complex area of business. Evidence of success in efficient and effective project support Committed to accuracy and efficiency Significant administrative experience in a busy office environment Word processing reports & correspondence Drafting routine correspondence Experience of working in a commissioning / contracting environment Organising meetings & Minute taking Knowledge and Edcuation: Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) Word processing, & Excel qualifications (Intermediate level) Appropriate Secretarial Qualification e.g., RSA Stage 3 or equivalent experience
