Overview

Our client, a leading firm in their field based in Watford, has a new role for a 2nd Line IT Support to join their IT Team supporting 3 offices in total, reporting to the IT Manager duties will include:- Microsoft Word template updates, including VBA changes and development. Helpdesk backup for first line support person. Helpdesk support escalations and first line holiday cover. New user on boarding and off boarding procedures. Microsoft Active Directory group policy configuration and deployment. IT Inductions and training for new employees. Key software deployment. Application updates on key software. Desktop support. Desktop / Office relocations. Encryption\Anti-Virus management and deployment. Hardware testing and deployment. Software management and deployment Client liaison. Working within the latest Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Desktop environments. Working with the latest Microsoft Office version Citrix XenApp knowledge would be advantageous. To be considered for this role it is essential that candidates have at least 2 years’ experience within a similar role. The salary and benefits are generous for the successful candidate.
