Overview
Business Manager The Role In your role as our Business Manager; you’ll be part of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for the leadership, management, supervision and development of our support services teams ensuring the business stays within budget and business aims and objectives are met. You’ll be given a high degree of autonomy that includes the responsibility and accountability for managing delegated budgets and resources. The role also involves creating, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development plans aimed at bringing about continual improvement across our services. You will provide clear oversite of the development of the estate as the school embarks on a significant redevelopment programme. Experience: Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate: High level of commercial business acumen Relevant regulations and standards for education Understanding of current inspection frameworks used by regulatory and statutory bodies. Management and knowledge of EBITDA, financial systems, processes and budget preparation Excellent communication skills with a range of internal and external people, verbally and in writing Ability to define high, appropriate and attainable standards, and achieve them Effective team leadership and management Project management experience and knowledge of building control. A working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation within an education environment.
