RESEARCH AND INNOVATION DIVISION UEA CAREERS SERVICE Business Engagement Officer, 0.4FTE Ref: ALC999 £33,797 to £40,322 per annum, pro rata UEA Careers Service is seeking a highly motivated Business Engagement Officer to support the work of the Careers Service. You will join a small team working closely with the Head of Business Partnerships, which is focussed on engaging with employers to develop mutually beneficial relationships on the recruitment of talent and the generation of specific opportunities for students e.g. internships, placements and work experience. The role also supports employers in raising the visibility of their organisation through attending events or exhibiting at a range of core events such as careers fairs. You will be able to support all businesses but will focus your attention on the following sectors: IT, Science, Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Environment and Telecommunications. You will also provide support, if appropriate, to the development of opportunities for international students or students interested in global opportunities. You will have a degree, equivalent qualification or recent relevant experience in a similar role and be able to satisfy all other essential criteria in the person specification. The post is available immediately on a part-time (0.4FTE), fixed-term basis for a period of two years, working Thursdays and Fridays.
