Our client provides great Geospatial data… After quick but sustained growth they are now looking to take the next step in their development and grow their sales team with the addition of two successful New Business sales professionals. Joining a business who are challenging the norms and the technology available in their industry you will be responsible for growing their international client base with Enterprise Businesses who will truly benefit from the solution on offer. Your role As a new business hunter you will be well versed and comfortable in generating your own new business leads and closing deals with new logo companies. As the business is growing our client are also in the process of establishing a demand generation team who will pass over warm appointments in addition to your own efforts. Responsible for attending client meetings (face-to-face or via video conference) and closing deals with new logo's you will be playing a key role in this businesses growth plans. Your Core skills and background include: • Proven experience in a new business sales capacity • Experience of assessing and progressing qualified leads, as appropriate, through to contract closure • Ability to understand and capture requirements from qualified leads to enable proposal development, contract negotiation and closure • Provide the Delivery team with the information they need to execute contracts won • Experience of adopting sales methodologies and techniques to manage sales engagements effectively • Experience in selling SaaS or Data-as-a-service (DaaS) solutions • A consultative sales person who is able to offer business solutions to prospective clients • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to network within the client base • Excellent sales process and organisation management • Ability to work autonomously as well as be part of a team • Excellent communication skills - oral and written • Articulate and able to influence and persuade in a business environment • Target / goal orientated The company Our client offers a Geospatial Data driven SaaS solutions or Data-as-a-service to a variety of businesses including utility companies and commodity based businesses.
