My Client is a global leader in the manufacturing of polymer products, sealants & valves that support the oil & gas industry around the world. With 3 sites in UK, Head Office & other sites in Europe, Asia & America & winning new contracts & making new product introductions to the industry on a regular basis - now is a great time to join their fantastic Quality Team as a Quality Assurance Lead . If you are from an engineering or Scientific background, with experience in a Quality environment/role (as below) - I would love to hear from you Engineering or Scientific Qualification Associate Member of Professional Quality Institute Experience of 'as built' documentation in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of material trace-ability Document control methodology Continuous Improvement outlook What is the purpose of your new role? As Quality Assurance Lead - you will have full responsibility of on time creation & delivery of 'as built' documents, in addition to the daily management of the documentation presented to Customers, any required spec changes (sometimes multiple), & queries to end use suitability. With support from a junior member of the Team, you will together ensure that all Customer specification & end use requirements are met. What will you be responsible for as Quality Assurance Lead? Customer satisfaction at all times Adherence to company & industry specific regulations Successful delivery of 'as built' documents & issue of any required project materials Always looking at continuous improvement in your role & that of you Team/Department thus meeting the needs of both Customer & Company for progression & future development Seeking out information from different departments within the business & regular liaison with said departments & Customers to ensure minimal adjustment to specification where possible Daily supervision of the resource in your Team & recognition of their development & growth, identifying relevant training or skills gaps & work collaboratively with HR Quality problem solving & technical alignment within the Quality Team What will your day look like within the Quality Team? Acting as lead in weekly meetings, discussing priorities, targets & ensuring that the workload is carefully managed Regular development & maintenance of the data book log - adding any requirement changes or identified non-conformities identified Seeking out information & building positive relationships from multiple associated Teams & stakeholders, to ensure swift resolution to identified quality issues & setbacks Challenging associated colleagues where necessary to ensure correction of documents, or reduction of process & additional cost to the Customer &Company Compilation of raw material trace-ability records into Manufacturing Record books in accordance with project requirements Generation of Certificates of Conformance using detailed packing lists plus Technical Instructions for 'end user' Management of 'Data Book', review, readiness checks & final inspection Drive swift resolutions of internal NCR, customer complaints, investigations & findings to keep problem close out to the minimum Support all internal audits in accordance with Company & Customer requirements Ensure all Quality Production Documentations is competed within KPI & reporting targets (daily, weekly, monthly) If this sounds like your next move or the challenge you have been waiting for, then click 'apply now' or give me a call to discuss (this is a vacant & urgent role).
