We Welcome Happy happyistheplacetobe We have a great opportunity for a Cluster HR Manager to join the group at Jurys Inn. This is a cluster role providing HR support to our two Jurys Inns hotels in Brighton, Jurys Inn Croydon and Leonardo Hotel Heathrow. There will therefore be some travel involved to the four different hotels in your cluster. We want you to lead a brilliant and diverse team to deliver excellence to our valued customers across our amazing hotel. This is a great role for a HR generalist being present throughout an employees role from recruitment to how far they want to progress. Experience we expect : • HR Generalist or specialist looking for their first Cluster HR Manager position- we like to develop people here • Background in hotels or service sector is preferred – so you will understand how we work • Good organisational and communication skills. Have the ability to build relationships with people, have the ability to influence colleagues. • To be able to multi task and make decisions in a fast paced environment and to enjoy it • To be able to work as part of a management team to ensure the employees are at the heart of the business. • Be able to use computer systems- we use SAP, social media, recruitment system etc. • To have a knowledge of policies, procedures and employment law. • To be able to coach and develop the management team in HR policies and processes • To have knowledge of running payroll is desirable Your responsibilities will be: • Recruitment and Selection, working with the heads of department to ensure they have the appropriate employee numbers for differing business levels. • Provide employees with information regarding Company policies, procedures and benefits. • Performance Management, provide advice and guidance to the managers to support them in dealing with difficult performance issues. Undertake disciplinary and grievance investigations or hearings. • Orientation of all new staff on first day. • Set up and maintain HR data accurately and update HR systems (SAP) in accordance with deadlines. • Ensure correct payroll procedures are followed and employees are paid correctly and on time. • Conduct Mandatory training as well as having a genuine interest in developing the team to reach their potential. • Coordinate engagement activities and monitor employee satisfaction. • To ensuring the company and employees are compliant across eligibility, Data Protection, H&S etc. • To keep up to date with employment law and your own professional development. • To ensure the HR function meets internal audit standards.
