PMO Coordinator 1 year Fixed Term Contract £28,400 - £40,000 per annum Coventry, Harrogate, Durham, Homeworking I am currently working with an ever growing public sector organisation that are looking to add a PMO Coordinator to their team. The client is looking for an individual who is comfortable in dealing strong minded stakeholders, has experience of supporting a wide ranging project management team and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure best practice is implemented throughout the business. A minimum of CTC is needed to be considered for this role Purpose To oversee and drive the work of the Project Management Office (PMO) by: defining and maintaining standards for project management; sharing best practice; developing and applying project procedures , tools and techniques to standardise methodologies. Ensuring the work of project managers supports key business initiatives and ways of working are developed and continually improved for the benefit of all project managers and associated staff in the organisation, along with timely and accurate reporting on progress to senior managers. Enabling the establishment to deliver on its priorities and projects to move forward with pace, clarity and use of appropriate resources. Essential Experience -Recent and relevant experience in PMO work with proven track record of successfully supporting a wide-ranging project management team -Successful experience of maintaining effective project management templates and sharing and implementing best practice -Experience of tracking costs, issues, risks, dependencies and benefits. -Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written - able to form beneficial working relationships with a wide variety of audiences - -Ability to work collaboratively across departments, to act as a point of contact to the PMO, with reference to best practice and templates -Excellent influencer able to introduce new ways of working and establish the credibility of the PMO -Expert in MS Office including MS Project Essential Training/Qualifications -Degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification or extensive equivalent experience in programme/project management support -PRINCE2 and/or other P3O Portfolio, Programme and Project Management qualification -Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development -Vetting level: NPPV2 and CTC Badenoch Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
