As a result of our continued year on year growth we need to expand our Network - Projects team, and are therefore looking to recruit an experienced Network Project Engineer. Working as part of a Network Team, you will be a key player delivering orders and working on customer projects delivering end-to-end solutions comprising of WAN, LAN, WLAN and security. Key Responsibilities Taking a high level design, scope of works and bill of materials and developing a low level design and implementation plan. Being competent in the low level design of WANs and LANs (IP addressing, VLANs, resilience at Layer-2 and Layer-3, etc.). Being competent in the configuration of Cisco router and switches and/or Juniper routers and switches. Building and implementing test plans. Performing network migrations (typically out of hours). Building change controls defining CLI commands. Reviewing other engineers’ change controls. Designing WLAN solutions. Configuring security appliances and UTM features on either CiscoASA and/or Juniper SRX & Fortigate. Mentoring Network Support and Provisioning Engineers. Key Skills The ideal candidate would have experience with the following: Enterprise switching and routing, WLAN, firewalls/security. Core Vendors -Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Meraki. Other skills - Service provider routing, data centre switching. Certifications/ability -CCNP, JNCIP level (although certification is not required).
