Overview

Barton Social Care Staffing working with fantastic leading provider of residential care for boys aged 13-18. The organisation is highly committed to providing outstanding outcomes for the young people they care for, they have 5 homes in Surrey and West Sussex, each home is set in a rural location, so a driving licence is essential. We are looking for candidates that have previous experience of working in a similar setting, ideally with a level 3 diploma in residential care. Senior Support Worker Role: To lead shifts, ensuring all daily/weekly tasks are completed To support the team through supervisions and role modelling good practice To lead team meetings Typically Shifts run from 8am-3pm or 2.30pm-10pm and staff will undertake 5 shifts per week over the course of the 7 days. Person Specification: You will have strong social care experience and a desire and passion for supporting young people with complex social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. We are looking for staff who are positive and sociable and forward thinking. The company offer enrolment onto the NEST pension scheme, a great training package, a thorough induction, regular supervision and support, development into more senior roles, on top of the salary and additional annual allowance of £1680 for one sleep in per week and 28 days annual leave.
