The day job Currently looking for a Service Design Manager for a unique opportunity as part of a team delivering 'enabling' services to a large Public Sector customer. This is a complex environment and the scope for learning is only limited by your own ambition and willingness to learn new skills. As a Service Designer you will creating services across a diverse portfolio of technical change, considering supportability, service and end user needs. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside project teams ensuring that Service considerations have been factored into all of the solution's architecture Assess elements of the solution that influence supportability, maintenance and enduring service Work across multiple work-streams within the portfolio identifying conflict, duplication and dependencies Support Service transition to ensure a smooth and informed introduction into service Identify and assist with establishing Service assets and operational collateral required for operational readiness Technical background and the ability to question decisions and approaches Essential skills: Understand service delivery models Experience of managing delivery to SLAs and Key Performance Indicators IT services background Professional SM qualification such as ITIL Assertive and pragmatic leader Self-driven, passionate about making a difference Takes accountability and ownership for delivering good service Stakeholder management and communication Reasons why you should apply to us We’re big - really big.
