Recruitment itself: - Networking and attending daily meetings (perfect for you social butterflies) - Cold Calling (leave your scarf at home for this one, this only means you’ll be making calls to clients who aren’t expecting them in order to sell your services as a recruiter) - Building relationships with candidates and clients - Sourcing candidates through H.A.N.D - Headhunting, Advertising, Networking and Database - Screening CV’s - Interviewing candidates on the phone and face to face - Arranging interviews - Selling your-self to both candidates and clients, while also selling them to each other (You’re basically a matchmaker|) - Negotiating and closing deals What do you need? Sales experience would be IDEAL (telesales, estate agency, door to door, fundraising, car sales) Degree educated (not as important if you have sales experience) DRIVE (not be able to drive, but an urge to reach and smash your goals) Personality - within recruitment you are constantly interacting and working with people, if you’re building relationships, you need have something about you. Ambition and desire to be successful Money motivation (not everyone is, but the benefits of working in a commission role definitely doesn’t go unrecognised by your bank account) Still interested?
