Overview
Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller this role has responsibility for a wide range of financial reporting duties and offers variety and development opportunities. Sitting at Group level, the role of Financial Accountant will be responsible for the consolidated results and will involve local country tax and filings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is 2/3 years PQE and has the drive to look for continuous improvements and embed controls. The main responsibilities of the role are: Managing the month end close Production of Statutory Accounts for all group trading companies Supporting with IFRS accounting and application of new technical accounting standards. Audit support both internally and externally Supporting with Tax and VAT returns and queries Intercompany and cost allocation management Supporting junior members of staff Getting involved in Group wide change programs.
