Overview
Financial Accountant Southampton £25000 - £45000 per annum My client are looking for a financial accountant to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for day to day financial, regulatory & liquidity reporting requirements at group level. You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate financial controls are maintained, providing reporting and assurance to group level. This is a unique opportunity to upskill your commercial accumen and act as a business partner, whilst your core responsibilities remain reporting-centric. Preparation of monthly legal entity numbers, submitting to the Group Reporting team in line with the reporting timetable. Preparation of journal entries and reconciliations as required, with relevant support. Provide information and support to group & Business Partners as required. Work closely with the Finance Operations and Group Reporting teams to ensure an efficient and effective operating model. Preparation of the annual statutory accounts for applicable legal entities. Working with auditors to provide sufficient supporting documentation as part of the interim and year end audits. Preparation of board, regulatory and liquidity reporting. Ensure adherence with relevant accounting policies, standards and reporting requirements. Ensure all key controls are performed as required over the preparation of the monthly numbers. Assist with the preparation of the IFRS numbers as part of the business planning and forecasting process.
