Overview

Manufacturing Financial Controller Butler Rose is proud to be supporting a global business with their recruitment for a Manufacturing Financial Controller. Based in Southampton this is a senior management role responsible for the financial management, controls and reporting of the UK manufacturing operations. We are seeking a high calibre qualified leader with experience in a high volume manufacturing environment ideally for an international business. Key responsibilities are broad and include: Financial reporting for and insight into cost to manufacture and overheads to ensure the best factory decisions and improvements are made based on accurate and insightful information. To build highly effective relationships with key cross functional manufacturing personnel Responsible to lead and develop a team of direct and indirect financial professionals. Devise and deliver against UK manufacturing and functional strategies Help to drive and embed a continuous improvement culture across both the finance and operations teams. Improving systems, processes and reporting where necessary. Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly accounts, cash flow projections, standard costs, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and year end accounts. Responsible for managing the financial costing process. To be responsible for agreement of monthly production numbers To provide on-site financial control to all aspects of the operation, providing day to day support and advice to staff and management on existing and future manufacturing internal control practices. To regularly audit SOX / Internal control processes To be responsible for monitoring, reporting and compliance of inventories, fixed assets and capital investment projects To drive cost saving initiatives and provide financial advice in the development of manufacturing methods We require…. We are seeking a very high calibre individual who offers experience in a senior leadership role for a high volume manufacturing business with proven managerial skills. Ideally you will have worked previously for an international business with US GAAP and have excellent systems skills ideally with ERP implementation exposure. Full CIMA / ACA/ ACCA qualification is essential as is the ability to add value through continuous improvement. Candidates should have first rate communication, analytical and problem solving skills, be able to work under pressure to very tight deadlines in a high volume of data environment.
