About The Coach House Care Home The Coach House is a 66 bedded mental health nursing home providing care and assessment of needs for adults with mental health disorders from the age of eighteen. The care is overseen by a team nurses, offering a holistic approach clients. Our care staff are a dedicated group and actively involve themselves in their daily living skills and social aspects of their lives. We are able to offer unique support packages tailored to individual needs and aspirations by working closely with the service user, their family and friends. We also offer a step-down placement for people that no longer need hospital care but are not yet ready to return home. About the role About the role Take key responsibility for the well-being of our residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met Provide assessments for potential clients for the service Lead, motivate and mentor your team and provide clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home Carry out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our service users Essential nursing tasks and duties including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation Promote our service users independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and strive for continuous improvement Communicate and liaise with other professionals involved in the well-being and care of our residents.
