About Select Healthcare The Select Healthcare Group is a family run business that was founded in the 1980’s with just one residential care home. Over the past three decades we have rapidly expanded our family of care homes and now have facilities in some of the most beautiful, relaxing surroundings in England. We currently have 36 care homes that offer care and support for Mental Health, Nursing, Learning Disabilities, Rehabilitation, and residential and nursing care for the elderly. About Jubilee Court Care Home Jubilee Court is a specialist service that supports 30 individuals. We have a team of staff that are trained in the care of clients with Neurological , Physical disabilities acquired brain injury , we also have a qualified Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist to carry out initial assessment and provide guidance on future support. About the role The role An exciting opportunity has arisen in our multi-disciplinary neuro-rehab team at Select Health for a physiotherapist. You will be working at Jubilee Court initially for a maternity cover and work with the lead physiotherapist to establish and implement therapy service at our new home opening in Tipton. Job Summary: • To work as part of the team in providing physiotherapy assessments and treatments and goal setting to a designated caseload of patients • To supervise therapy assistants, provide training for them, and to be involved in completing their appraisals and supervision • To provide goals and targets with the individual • To liaise with other health care professionals, carers and relatives • To provide education and training as required. • To participate in CPD and other developmental activities.
