DEVOPS ENGINEER LOCATION- SOUTHEND 6 MONTHS IR35- INSCOPE Client Overview: Would you like to join a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation? Our client is at the forefront of innovation to address the entire breadth of opportunities in the evolving world of cloud, digital and platforms Role Overview: Candidate will have solid experience working in an AWS and Java SE development environment building automated deployments of software releases. He/She will be responsible for building and configuring all scripted environments for automated deployment across defined availability zones. Responsibilities: Support Java Development and Test teams in CI/CD configurations Environment builds on AWS platform across three tier architecture Web, Application and DB. Where required containerisation of the solution Deployment automation Understand and Produce network requirements and ensure implemented by networks team. Support release deployment to all environments including production. Analysis and troubleshooting deployment and environment issues. Working to the scrum team method and building & delivering components as part of 2-week sprints. Key Technologies: AWS Linux Windows DevOps and automation tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Gitlab, Artifactory) CI/CD Jenkins Pipeline / Maven Microservices Deploying Java SE Java Spring Framework / Spring Boot 2 Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
