Building the present, creating the future Description BAM Nuttall have a number of new schemes in the Yorkshire area and are now looking to expand the existing commercial team. These civil engineering works relate to Environment Agency and Local Authority projects and use the NEC forms of contract. Our requirement is immediate and we can offer a sustainable future workload. Your key activities will include: Reporting to Commercial Manager. Liaison with operations team. Responsibility for general commercial project management including provision of the following: monthly cost value reconciliations, cashflow monitoring, monthly and quarterly forecasts; monthly application for payment; change management. Manage / mentor junior members of commercial team as required. Ensure compliance and adherence with project and company commercial procedures for procurement and subcontract management. Procurement and commercial management of subcontracts. Job Requirements Your qualifications, skills and experience should include: Formal relevant qualification - Degree; HNC/D. Experience of NEC form of Contract. Previous experience on civil engineering scheme. Experience of target price contracts advantageous. Good cient facing collaborative attitude.
