Meraki Talent’s industry leading Financial Services client are looking for a Taxation Specialist to join a busy CGT and Portfolio Valuations team going through a period of growth. This is your chance to join a successful team where hard work is recognised. The Taxation Specialist will be a critical appointment and therefore we are keen to speak to high-calibre individuals with a strong Investment Tax/CGT background. Responsibilities of the Position: Calculation of corporate and income tax provisions Financial statement taxation disclosures as required by SORP Payments and refunds of tax made by the required deadlines Understand MiFID II regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge in respect of client reporting Tax returns prepared and submitted to H.M. Revenue & Customs Dealing with Tax queries Maintain the tax affairs of Investment Trusts, Open Ended Investment Companies and Unit Trusts to the highest standard of accuracy Meeting all client taxation KPI’s and ensuring all service delivery commitments are being met in accordance with client service level agreements Background of the Position: Fund accounting IOC or equivalent qualifications Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders across the business Excellent organisational and administration skills Enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude
