Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Specialist with experience and expertise in drafting, negotiating, and interpreting commercial service and support agreements to join my clients team based in South Ayrshire. You will be responsible for ensuring the organisation is accurately and successfully represented in contract drafts and customer negotiations based on input from sales, finance and legal, furthermore all business functions are aware of Contract obligations and duties Key Responsibilities Provide advice on contracts and compliance issues and ensure that contracts and policies are in adherence with relevant internal and external regulatory standards and requirements, recommending solutions to management Perform legal research and providing contract language interpretation to understand and resolve issues and disputes. Draft Aftermarket commercial contract documents for: Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services agreements Draft program letters and whitepapers summarizing key contractual positions Proposal and negotiation preparation to include, maintenance and review of contract terms and conditions and contract templates Continuously improve and draft original language for standard templates, standard work, and internal policies and procedures Conducting contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contracting activities in accordance with Company policies About You U.K. / E.U. law degree with wide-ranging experience Capability to enforce compliance with company procedures Experience in customer facing contract negotiations Experience with negotiation of contracts in a customer and supply chain role Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written Contracts Management experience Knowledge of IP licensing agreements
