Overview
Transport Manager: Construction: Uxbridge Our client is a speciailist insulation distributor. They are looking for a transport manager based at their branch and site in Uxbridge. Job responsibilities • Manage the daily plan and dispatch of routes to achieve contractual delivery times, and effectively manage live changes to the plan. • Facilitate efficient planning to assist in achieving the Business financial objectives. • Ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism. • Ensure all weekly and monthly KPI data is captured in a timely manner as set by the business and/or Customer • Ensure that appropriate communication methods are used to provide information both internally and externally as required e.g. dealing with customer / supplier requests / issues etc. • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. • Always display the highest standards of customer service. • Ensure all vehicles are monitored and maintained to a high level of service.
