Overview
Your new firm Your new firm is a leading national law firm seeking a Quality & Risk Assistant to join their compliance team in the Manchester office. You will report to Head of Quality & Risk and play a key role in the National team, which is responsible for ensuring that the firm is compliant with all contractual, legislative and regulatory obligations. Your new role You will be responsible for supporting the Quality & Risk team. Your work will cover the entire spectrum of compliance, however some of your duties will include: Assisting with the monitoring activities of the firm on a daily, monthly, quarterly basis Produce Management Reports Maintain a document diary of policy and procedures as well as the inputting of data and updating of information Ensuring any regulatory issues are escalated properly to the relevant business areas Undertake or assist with ad-hoc projects for the Quality & Risk team Assisting with collating audit reports, project information and analysis of results What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will need previous experience of working in a legal or regulated environment. You will have previous experience of supporting a team, this could have been in an administrative capacity. Whilst not essential Professional Compliance Qualifications would be an advantage in this role. Excellent attention to detail and organisation is essential for this position and good IT skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Office will be beneficial. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a salary in the region of £20,000 - £24,000 based on your current level of experience.
