Kingston £40,000 Flexible working hours Your new company A globally recognised organisation based in the heart of Kingston are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Manager to join their team. Your new role Sitting within the HR team, you will manage a payroll team of five processing a monthly payroll smoothly and efficiently. The monthly payroll consists of 1500 employees and is spread across five separate payrolls. You will be the go to person for all payroll queries from employees, third party providers and other departments within the business, ensuring all teams communicate and collaborate well. A key part of your role will be mentoring and providing advice to members of the payroll team on legislation and tax codes and ensuring the team accurately process aspects of the payroll such as SSP, SMP, SPP, starters, leavers and pension administration. What you'll need to succeed A strong, positive work ethic and experience managing or mentoring a team previously. You'll need experience processing end to end payroll and have a solid understanding of UK payroll legislation. You will have used various payroll systems and be advanced on MS office as well as having strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
