The role is extremely diverse with the facility consisting of five wards, along with semi-independent flats on-site. The postholder forms part of the hospital senior management team and is responsible for the clinical services operations that includes nursing and therapy. The post holder will ensure the highest level of patient care is provided to all patients. The Director of Clinical Services plays a key role in developing the hospital strategy, providing operational and clinical leadership to the team. The role: Promotes an effective working relationship across the hospital. Provides leadership, organisation and coordination to ensure effective clinical governance To manage the delivery of clinical services, business plan ensuring the effective and efficient management and control of staff, recruitment, e-roster, budgets and equipment Being responsible for implementing effective clinical interventions and ensures that treatment is designed to enhance the operation and quality of clinical services and is aligned to best practices. Ensures compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards and delivering against quality and performance indicators.
